Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales while upholding brand standards. You will mentor staff, manage scheduling, and ensure store policies are followed in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the heart of the team, you’ll supervise operations, support inventory management, and execute merchandising strategies.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer disciplinary steps when the Store Manager is absent.
• Create a fun, productive environment aligned with brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store; call in associates during peaks.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure policy compliance and safeguarding of inventory and cash.
• Open and close the store following standard procedures.
