Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee scheduling, training, and adherence to policies while maintaining inventory control and visual standards.

Qualifications

Must be able to drive store performance by achieving sales targets and minimizing loss.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer and team interactions.
Ability to operate with a degree of autonomy and accountability in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, and escalations in the absence of the Store Manager.
Lead and train store associates using LIDS training programs; set goals and monitor progress.
Maintain and enforce store policies, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
Recruit, train, and develop staff; foster a respectful, inclusive team environment.
Execute merchandising, signage, and visual standards; ensure store cleanliness and appearance.
