Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach a high-performing team, and ensure top-tier customer service. You will drive sales, manage staffing, and uphold brand standards across the store.

Responsibilities include executing selling strategies, handling cash, supporting inventory, and embracing Lids’ training programs to develop staff and deliver a fun, engaging shopping experience for fans.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty for scheduling, customer complaints, and store needs.
• Lead and train store associates through LIDS training programs and goal setting.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging store environment while upholding policy compliance.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Manage cash handling, opening/closing tills, and bank drops.
• Prepare store for inventory audits and assist with counts to ensure accuracy.
• Open/close the store per Operations guidelines.
