Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results.
• Identifies training and development opportunities to improve performance of direct reports.
• Models company values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Monitors the competitive environment and alerts leadership to adjustments needed to maintain position.
• Provides product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel.
• Ensures adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash control policies.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

3 years of progressive retail experience
