ALDI, Inc. in Michigan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Oxford Charter Township. This full-time role averages 38 hours per week with starting wages of $26.00 per hour and a wage increase to $27.00 per hour in year two.

You will supervise daily store activities, manage schedules, payroll, inventory, and training opportunities while driving store performance and ensuring customer service and safety standards are met.

Formación

• 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for direct reports to improve performance.
• Model company values to foster teamwork and belonging among employees.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments to maintain ALDI's position.
• Provide product feedback and assist in decisions on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly information, milestones, and concerns.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
