Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of approximately ten department managers and receivers.

The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and customer focus in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include inventory control, training and performance development, and ensuring accurate pricing, labeling and product freshness across departments.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with P&L, safety, staffing, training and performance.
• Professional communication skills; detail-oriented, analytical and solution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape store culture by modeling Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (Department Managers and Receivers).
• Motivate and develop management while embracing Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Oversee inventory management, invoicing, backroom organization, and safety.
• Drive store sales and maintain compliance with safety and labeling standards.
• Ensure accurate pricing, product labeling, and stock conditions.
• Manage P&L, labor and expenses to meet targets.
