Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to oversee all store operations, driving sales and efficiency while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure compliance with safety, labeling, health, and weights and measures standards across departments. As a trusted leader, you will manage a team of about ten department managers and receivers, guide inventory control, and optimize labor and expenses to meet targets.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; business/retail degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; or an education/experience mix.
• Proven leadership across perishable and non-perishable operations with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Shape store culture by modeling Sprouts values.
• Develop leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of ~10 department managers and receivers.
• Motivate and develop management with Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and audit readiness across the store.
