Sprouts Farmers Market in New Braunfels, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store processes and drive sales with a strong focus on customer service. You will lead a team of Department Managers and Receivers, ensuring perishable and non-perishable departments operate smoothly, while upholding safety, labeling, and sanitation standards.

You will manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets, support store culture, and mentor leaders.

Formación

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations including profit and loss, safety, sanitation, staffing, training, and inventory management.
• Professional communication skills; detail-oriented and solution-focused.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and HR software.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety certification.
• Able to lift 60 pounds and push/pull heavy items.
• Stand for long periods and move merchandise as needed.

• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of about ten people (Department Managers and Receivers).
• Mentor management through Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Drive store sales and customer advocacy with strong leadership.
• Ensure accurate product labeling, pricing, and freshness.
