Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading both perishable and non-perishable department operations including P&L, safety, staffing, training, and merchandising.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail; analytical and solution-focused decisiveness.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling the leadership behaviors aligned to Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience by motivating and engaging team members.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (Department Managers and Receivers) with courtesy, respect, integrity, and care.
• Motivate and develop the management team by embracing and modeling Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Drive store sales growth and ensure store experience meets company standards and directs continuous improvement.
