Job summary

Cosmo Prof is seeking an Assistant Manager in Skokie, IL to support Store Manager in hiring, training and leading store associates while upholding brand standards. You will help drive sales, manage daily operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in retail, 1 year in a supervisory role, and a proven ability to coach teams, schedule staff, and communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: supervise and guide associates to deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring brand standards.
• 30% People: train and develop teams, recruit when needed, and coach to improve performance.
• 30% Operations: ensure execution of company processes and Omni-channel initiatives.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: maintain safe store environment and protect assets.
