Job summary

CVS Health is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop you into a CVS Store Manager. Over 16 weeks you’ll participate in self-paced, collaborative training with support from your District Leader, HRBP, Training Store Manager and Store Manager coach.

The SMIT combines virtual and hands-on experiences to build leadership, merchandising, and people management skills, with an anticipated weekly commitment of 45 hours and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience.
• Retail management experience or experience as CVS Supervisor.
• The four year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support you on your path to promotion during the structured program.
• Support your store as management team member and lead in a manner that is consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage your colleagues in support of the company’s purpose of “helping people on their path to better health.”
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market that you work in.
