Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Salt Lake City to lead partners, drive a service and selling culture, and build long-lasting customer relationships. The role requires coaching, scheduling collaboration, and community engagement to support store performance and loyalty programs.

As a team-focused leadership role, you will train associates across product categories and ensure operations, merchandising, and compliance with company policies. The position is on-site and full-time.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide coaching, actionable feedback, and recognition of excellence; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Develop training plans and coach team members to advance their careers within the company.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on schedules, policies, and communications with District/Region/Support Center partners.
• Plan and execute community outreach events to engage the local market.
• Drive customer engagement through loyalty programs and meet individual and team goals.
• Maintain stock levels, merchandising, signing, and presentations per company guidelines.
• Assist with inventory shrink plans as a key driver of this strategy.
• Maintain product knowledge across categories and train partners accordingly.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and adhere to attendance policies.
• Comply with all laws and company policies; demonstrate professionalism and teamwork.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by leadership.
