Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Dallas to support daily store operations and lead teams to meet sales and customer experience goals. You will work closely with the Store Manager on recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.

Role requires 2–4 years in retail leadership, strong communication and organizational skills, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will help drive performance, ensure compliance, and uphold Citi Trends standards across store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding and training support.
• Help maintain staffing levels through recruiting efforts and retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain safe, organized store environment and enforce loss prevention.
• Execute merchandising, operational and visual standards consistently.
