Job summary

Sierra, part of the TJX family, is hiring for the Key Carrier role in a store setting. The position emphasizes leadership duties, supervision of associates, and delivering strong customer service.

You'll alternate as Coordinator and Key Carrier, with open availability including nights and weekends. The role focuses on safety, operations, coaching, and maintaining store procedures to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Team player with peers and supervisors.
• Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
• 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates with management and Associates when setting priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
