Meijer’s Store Leadership Internship builds foundational retail knowledge and exposes interns to leadership opportunities. Interns may convert to full-time roles with structured development programs and leadership rotations, with potential to lead a multimillion-dollar/year business and teams of hundreds.

The program includes challenging projects, final presentations to senior executives, executive speaker series, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Past leadership responsibilities in work or extracurricular activities preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in the day-to-day operations within various departments of the store.
• Mentor and coach team members to ensure customer service and sales goals are exceeded.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure consistent attendance.
