Job summary

Meijer offers an 11-week Store Leadership Internship designed to develop retail knowledge and leadership capabilities. Interns will work under guidance from senior leaders, tackle real projects, and present outcomes through final presentations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in work or activities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and store P&L.
• Engage with customers and teammates to ensure exceptional service.
• Promote safety and maintain store standards.
• Take on duties as assigned during the internship.
