Job summary

Target is seeking a Stores Executive Intern to develop leadership skills in a busy retail environment. The paid internship runs 40 hours per week and provides hands-on exposure to day-to-day store operations, guest service, and merchandising under the guidance of an ETL mentor.

You will gain experience across departments, lead teams, and participate in daily huddles while learning how to deliver excellent guest experiences and achieve store priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Interest in pursuing leadership roles in retail.
• Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily priorities on the sales floor and backroom.
• Collaborate with the ETL mentor and store leaders to learn roles.
• Drive guest experience, stock shelves, and support store goals.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve service.
