Job summary

Target is looking for a Stores Executive Intern to gain hands-on leadership experience in a real store environment. This paid internship is 40 hours per week and designed to develop you for the Executive Team Leader role, with exposure to multiple areas of the store and opportunities to lead teams and guest service initiatives.

During the program you will work with a mentor, lead your peers in daily priorities, drive guest experience, learn merchandising, and participate in development

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in working in retail management.
• Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the store salesfloor and backroom leading team members.
• Lead through daily priorities and mentor interactions.
• Plan daily goals and present results with leadership.
