Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Baltimore to lead daily store operations, drive sales performance, and provide outstanding customer service. You will oversee staffing, training, and adherence to brand standards while ensuring efficient store operations and a positive team environment.

You will manage scheduling, resolve customer issues, and execute merchandising and inventory practices to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales and minimize loss.
• Strong interpersonal communication with customers and team.
• Capacity to work unsupervised and manage shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Enforce discipline with verbal and written warnings when needed.
• Create a fun, productive environment and align with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, cash handling and inventory control.
• Open and close the store following SOPs.
