Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Wheaton, MD is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will be the heart of our store, guiding sales, service, and operations to meet performance goals while delivering an engaging customer experience.

You will coach team members, oversee scheduling, merchandising, and training, ensure loss prevention, cash handling, and inventory accuracy, and partner with the Store Manager to uphold Lids standards and celebrate fan-driven fashion.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty in Manager's absence and oversee scheduling and customer issues.
• Lead training and development, monitor sales goals, and provide feedback to staff.
• Maintain cash controls, store safety, and adherence to policies.
• Oversee inventory and backroom organization, including receiving and stock counts.
• Execute merchandising and visual standards, promotions, and product presentation.
