Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Melbourne, FL to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and mentor team members. You will ensure exceptional customer service, uphold brand standards, and manage scheduling and staffing in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a key leader, you will train staff, monitor KPIs, and support inventory and visual merchandising programs while maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere for fans.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and goal setting, with regular follow-up.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and adhere to Lids Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during peaks.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and customer service excellence.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and professional appearance per policy.
• Handle cash, opening/closing tills, and prepare for inventory audits.
