Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Wellington, FL seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and support the Store Manager in scheduling, training, and sales goals.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, grow sales, ensure proper visual merchandising, and help create an engaging, inclusive team culture. Prior supervisory experience in retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up in Store Manager's absence.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when Store Manager is not present.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment and adherence to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during peaks.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with policies including safeguarding inventory and funds.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver customer service excellence.
