Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador and lead customer service excellence across our Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store brands. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, cash handling, and high-quality customer interactions.

The assistant manager will educate customers on products, escalate issues when needed, and ensure smooth store operations. Strong communication, multitasking, and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Must have own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options to meet needs.
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate as needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process applications or other questions.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally to customers and ensure they feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and resolve concerns.
• Handle currency and cash including maintaining a cash drawer and deposits.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely I Agree.
• Other duties as assigned.
