Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead in-store operations across our Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance and Cash Store brands. You will drive outstanding customer service, manage cash handling, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting district leadership.

The role emphasizes sales, training, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment with travel within the district as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on product options meeting their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or corporate office when needed.
• Answer phone inquiries and process customer applications and requests.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy and collection calls per regulations.
• Explain solutions clearly to ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Handle cash, balance batches, and assist with end-of-day reconciliation.
• Verify customer information and process loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and complete required trainings.
