Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. HomeGoods in Middletown, DE is hiring a Key Carrier to support store operations and leadership. This role alternates between coordinating tasks and stepping into a leadership position, with open availability including nights and weekends.

You will model exceptional customer service, manage Associate coverage, coach staff, and ensure procedures are followed to support a positive shopping experience while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Able to coach, delegate and follow-up on multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates priorities and provides progress updates
• Provides coaching and feedback to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs
• Promotes safety and ensures a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
