Job summary

HomeGoods in Flagstaff is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations, often acting as Coordinator while occasionally stepping into leadership. Must have open availability, including nights and weekends, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and store execution.

You will lead, coach, and direct Associates, ensure opening/closing procedures, uphold safety and policy, and help manage inventory and training.

• 1 year retail experience, 6 months leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks per plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses customer service issues and coaches Associates.
• Maintains Associate coverage for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed per guidelines.
• Communicates with management and Associates on priorities; provides updates.
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates.
• Partners with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
