Job summary

Rally House is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Store Manager by ensuring standards are consistently executed, aiding in team development, and maintaining a guest-focused atmosphere. This role backs the Head Coach in driving store results and adapting to changing priorities to keep operations smooth and engaging for fans.

The Assistant Coach will lead training, coach performance, and own daily operational routines while ensuring safety and policy compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in retail.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week including day, night, weekend, holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head Coach to attract, hire, and onboard talent.
• Lead ongoing training and development plans for team members.
• Coach performance, document feedback, and support corrective actions.
• Build engagement through recognition, communication, and follow-up.
• Own execution of operational standards and routines.
• Validate Playbook adherence through observation and walkthroughs; ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Act as operational leader-on-duty in Head Coach’s absence.
• Lead execution of visual directives and seasonal transitions.
• Ensure fixture flow and product placement drive sales and ease of shopping.
• Maintain store organization and back‑of‑house standards.
• Coach Team Captains and Teammates on visual expectations.
• Own service execution and customer experience standards.
• Observe the store through the customer lens and adjust in real time.
• Resolve complex customer concerns and ensure follow‑up.
• Reinforce consistency of service behaviors across all shifts.
• Support payroll planning and labor optimization.
• Analyse store performance and take action to improve results.
• Lead execution of special events and hot markets.
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
