Job summary

Lidl US in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in coaching the store team and delivering Lidl’s high-quality, low-price shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience OR a bachelor’s degree
• Excellent customer service skills, including de-escalation
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a physical store environment
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting and meet targets

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to reach full potential daily
• Provide excellent customer service and be the primary contact for customer needs
• Monitor and drive improvement of store KPIs
• Lead store projects such as weekly promotions and re-merchandising
• Support operational tasks: cash handling, stock, cleaning, and other store functions
• Maintain a safe, productive work environment compliant with policy and law
