Job summary

Lidl US is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to support the Store Manager in coaching the team and delivering Lidl’s high-value, low-price shopping experience. You’ll drive daily operations, participate in stock, cleaning, and cash tasks, and ensure a safe, productive environment for staff and customers.

You will lead by example, develop associates, and balance customer service with operational targets while advancing store performance and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience OR a bachelor’s degree.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to participate in daily physical operations of the store.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach full potential each day.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the primary contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive improvement of store KPIs.
• Lead weekly promotions and routine re-merchandising projects.
• Support cash handling, stocking, cleaning and other store tasks.
• Maintain a safe, positive, productive work environment.
