Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help fulfill our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

The role replaces and expands tasks across sales, merchandising and store operations, working directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team. The AIT pathway progresses into an Assistant Manager role with higher duties while sharing core responsibilities with the team, including training and motivating teammates and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; retail experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer-service focus; ability to train teammates.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sales, merchandising and operational duties as assigned by store management.
• Work with Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales and recruit teammates.
• Train and motivate teammates; act as Store Manager in their absence.
• Lead with showmanship and legendary guest service across the store areas.
• Manage daily store operations including POS procedures, security practices, and inventory.
