The role offers full-time hours (average 38/week) with starting wage of $28.00 per hour and a wage increase to $29.00 in year two. Benefits are provided for eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced store setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identifies training opportunities to improve performance.
• Models ALDI core values and fosters teamwork among employees.
• Monitors community competitive environment and reports necessary adjustments.
• Provides product feedback and recommendations on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel and onboarding.
• Communicates weekly information, milestones, and concerns to the team.
• Ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
• Handles customer concerns in the absence of a direct leader.
