Job summary

The Children’s Place in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by handling cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through the training of associates, including giving in-the-moment coaching conversations.
• Partners with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide direct, objective feedback in a timely manner.
• Assess performance and provide feedback daily and during annual reviews.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and a positive store environment.
• Model exceptional customer service behaviors on the sales floor and maintain brand standards.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Support management to maximize productivity through operational knowledge and payroll input.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) to drive store profitability and customer experience.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and ensure CRE Standards & Safety.
