Job summary

The Children's Place in Lake George, New York, seeks a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. You will represent the brand, engage customers, and ensure store standards while supporting teamwork and employee development.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and are 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develop talent through coaching and training of associates.
• Partner with Store Manager on performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training initiatives.
• Foster a positive store environment with timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during reviews.
• Motivate staff to build brand loyalty and drive customer service.
• Model exceptional customer service and maintain brand standards.
• Participate in Leader on Duty program to drive profitability.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and uphold CRE standards.
