Job summary

Safelite in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily retail operations with a focus on quality and service, delivering a memorable customer experience. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and safety while coaching a high-performing team to achieve KPIs.

You’ll drive performance, ensure SafeTech compliance, and maintain an inviting store appearance, working closely with field leaders to optimize operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent or higher is acceptable.
• 5-7 years leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• 3+ years in retail or service center environments; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and coach a mobile workforce.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, work order management, cash handling and inventory control.
• Drive team performance to meet KPIs and company goals, ensuring quality service and safety standards.
• Ensure technicians are SafeTech certified and that installs/repairs meet quality requirements.
• Provide guidance on vehicle/equipment maintenance and collaborative marketing display efforts.
• Deliver world-class customer service by promptly addressing complaints and warranty issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
