Dollar General is seeking aStore Manager to oversee all store operations in Oregon. You will recruit, train and lead staff, manage scheduling, payroll decisions and performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, cash controls, open/close procedures and delivering superior customer service. The role requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership to manage store operations and staff.
• Experience in scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Familiarity with federal and state labor laws.
• Ability to analyze sales and inventory trends.
• Certain store locations may give preference to bilingual Spanish speakers.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for counseling or termination as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Ensure that the store is appropriately staffed and effectively opened and closed each day.
• Open the store at least two times per week and close at least two times per week.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify business trends, expenses, shrink, and errors.
• Review ordering plans and inventory issues to meet in-stock targets weekly.
• Facilitate staging, stocking and storage of merchandise per company processes.
• Maintain merchandising standards, pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and cash controls.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized store environment.
