Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions or counseling.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Monitor operating statements to identify business trends and control expenses.
• Review ordering plans and inventory management; ensure in-stock targets are met.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and signage for all products.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and cash controls.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store.
