Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff the store.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, address performance gaps.
• Recommend pay rate and advancement paths.
• Communicate performance, safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Ensure proper staffing and opening/closing each day.
• Open at least twice weekly; close at least twice weekly.
• Analyze statements to spot trends, expenses, shrink and errors.
• Manage orders to hit in-stock targets; review plans weekly.
• Stage, stock, and store merchandise per company processes.
• Present merchandise correctly with pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and security of cash handling.
• Lead customer service and keep store clean and safe.
• Maintain tools and compliance with SOPs; complete paperwork.
