Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps or counseling; termination where needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Open the store at least twice weekly and close it at least twice weekly.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends, expenses, shrink, and errors.
• Manage stock by reviewing ordering plans and inventory issues weekly.
