Job summary

Dollar General seeks an experienced store manager to oversee all store operations, including staffing, training, and daily processes. You will lead recruiting, performance management, and compliance to ensure excellent customer service and store efficiency.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, inventory control, and adherence to company policies while driving sales and profitability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train staff according to policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all store employees, planning and implementing store processes.
• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps.
• Ensure store opening/closing, safety, and policy compliance.
• Monitor sales, inventory, and expenses to drive store performance.
