Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training, conducts evaluations, identifies gaps and counsels or terminates if needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rates and advancement.
• Communicates performance expectations; leads meetings to reinforce safety and policies.
• Staffing and opening/closing the store at required frequencies.
• Evaluates operating statements for trends, profitability, and shrink.
• Manages ordering to meet in-stock targets; reviews stock planning weekly.
• Facilitates staging, stocking, and presentation of merchandise.
• Maintains accurate inventory with damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Ensures cash control and security practices; maintains customer service leadership.
• Maintains clean, safe, and well-organized store; supports safe shopping environment.
• Ensures proper tools and equipment are available to perform tasks.
• Follows SOPs and company communications; ensures compliance.
• Completes paperwork and documentation within deadlines.
