Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train staff and manage performance with counseling or termination as needed.
• Familiarity with store operations, inventory management, and stock replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff store according to policies.
• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations; address gaps with counseling or termination.
• Set and communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; lead meetings and events.
• Ensure proper staffing and secure opening/closing of the store.
• Monitor sales, profitability, inventory turns, and expense control.
