Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and store policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all store employees and oversee planning and execution of store processes (ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing).
• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing and training; conduct evaluations and counseling.
• Determine pay rate recommendations and advancement opportunities; communicate expectations and safety standards.
• Open/close the store as required; ensure security and cash control procedures.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends, expenses and inventory issues; manage stock and sign/product pricing.
