You will recruit, train, evaluate, and counsel employees, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to policies. Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining a safe, customer-focused store.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and procedures.
• Basic math calculations including percentages for retail operations.
• Cash handling procedures and deposit control understanding.
• Cash register operation and sales reporting basics.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensures staffing levels.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels when needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance and safety expectations; coordinates meetings.
• Manages opening/closing each day; ensures store is properly staffed.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability, and trends.
• Oversees ordering to meet in-stock targets; reviews weekly plans.
• Facilitates stock staging, stocking, and merchandise storage.
• Ensures presentation, pricing, and signage across fixtures.
• Maintains inventory levels by controlling damages and shrink.
• Upholds cash control procedures and security practices.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Ensures proper tools and equipment are available for tasks.
• Follows SOPs and company communications; ensures compliance.
• Completes paperwork and documentation by deadlines.
