Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, including staffing, training, and ensuring a friendly, easy to shop environment. You will manage the stockroom, front end, and sales floor while controlling expenses and executing company best practices.

The role requires five+ years of store management experience, strong customer service, and the ability to develop associates. Evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

• Leads the entire operation of the Store to ensure standards and best practices are met.
• Recruits, trains and develops leadership and Associates.
• Manages Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations to ensure timely delivery of new merchandise.
