Kate Spade New York in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to partner with the Store Leader and drive store productivity through leadership, coaching, and operational excellence. You set the tone on the sales floor and elevate service across omni-channel and virtual selling.

You will recruit and develop diverse talent, manage KPIs, and own sales plans while ensuring brand standards and a high-energy, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experienced with retail systems.
• Ability to analyze selling reports and identify trends.
• Strong English language proficiency. (for EU)

Responsibilities

• Model service behaviors and lead a client-focused environment.

• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and security.
• Manage schedules and payroll budgets; adjust staffing to business needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and loss prevention.
• Support inventory management, cycle counts, and shipments.
• Manage live stream shopping sessions and leverage social media trends.
