Boot Barn in Gastonia, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the store leadership team, collaborating with the Store Manager to cultivate an environment that delivers exceptional service and achieves sales goals.

The role emphasizes partner development, merchandising standards, and store operations, with focus on community engagement and contributing to year-over-year improvements. Growth opportunities exist within Boot Barn’s store network.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree and/or 2–4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time-management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexible scheduling and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

• Develop store performance through training plans and merchandising optimization.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on schedules, policies, and interviewing/hiring.

• Coach associates in customer engagement and loyalty programs.
• Ensure merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, and presentations meet customer needs.
• Oversee inventory shrink plans with the store team.
• Maintain knowledge across product categories and train partners accordingly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures per company standards.
