Job summary

Lidl US in Suwanee, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, coach the store team, and help deliver Lidl's low-price, high-quality shopping experience. You will own aspects of store performance and lead daily operations to meet targets.

You will lead a team, drive customer service excellence, and ensure safety and compliance while managing tasks from cash handling to merchandising.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience or a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to complete every to-do list on time, hit store targets, and maximize productivity.
• Experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and de-escalation.
• Willingness to participate in physical store operations daily (stocking, cleaning, ringing).
• Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds.
• Ability to reach above head heights (>10 inches).
• ServSafe certification required

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach full potential each day.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive improvements of store KPIs.
• Lead promotional store sets and re-merchandising projects.
• Support store operations: cash handling, stock, cleaning, and other tasks.
• Maintain a safe, productive store environment per policies and laws.
