Job summary

Lidl US is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, coach the team, and uphold Lidl’s high standards of value and service. You will own day-to-day performance, balance operations with people development, and ensure a smooth, customer-focused shopping experience.

You will lead the store team, manage promotions and merchandising, and actively participate in physical store tasks. A bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of management experience is required, with ServSafe

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1–2 years of management experience OR a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds daily.
• Willingness to participate in physical store tasks.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach full potential daily.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive KPIs and store performance.
• Lead weekly promotions and merchandising projects.
• Support cash handling, stock, cleaning, and other store tasks.
• Maintain a safe, productive work environment per policies.
