Job summary

Lidl Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, coaching the team and delivering Lidl’s famous low-price shopping experience.

You will drive daily operations, mentor staff, and lead initiatives like promotions and merchandising while ensuring excellent customer service and safe store conditions. This role requires leadership, flexibility, and physical ability to perform store tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1-2 years of management experience or a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical store tasks.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
• Proactive leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach their full potential daily.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for customer needs.
• Monitor and drive improvement of store KPIs.
• Lead team projects like weekly promotional sets and re-merchandising.
• Support operational tasks including cash management, stock, and cleaning.
• Maintain a safe, positive work environment per policies.
