Job summary

Lidl US seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, coaching the store team and delivering Lidl’s high-quality, low-price shopping experience. You will own aspects of store performance and lead initiatives to improve customer service and store operations.

You will work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, overseeing cash handling, merchandising, stock and safety, while developing your team and ensuring targets are met.

Qualifications

• Management experience or a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong people leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to perform physical store tasks daily; lift up to 50+ pounds.
• ServSafe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach full potential daily.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive improvement of store KPIs.
• Lead team projects like weekly promotional sets and re-merchandising.
• Support operational tasks: cash, stock, cleaning, and other store functions.
• Ensure a safe, productive working environment per policies.
